06: Operations

The operations section should include details of the company’s operational capabilities and any changes and improvements that you plan to make to these, eg office locations, production facilities, management information systems (MIS) - such as customer databases, stock control and management accounts - and, importantly, all IT systems, including back-up and security.

Your expansion plans could be severely restricted by operational constraints. So the strengths and weaknesses of these capabilities could be key to the company being able to meet its objectives.

This section should also detail any existing regulatory frameworks and standards, and should incorporate any EU issues or planned changes to these that could affect the company.
