06: Eligibility conditions

To claim unfair dismissal protection (including constructive dismissal), an employee must have been employed for at least one year by the date of the dismissal, and must have been dismissed for other than a fair reason. To claim redundancy rights an employee must have been employed for at least two years by the date of the redundancy and must claim within six months of the redundancy. For wrongful dismissal claims, there is no service qualification.
